Having successfully self-published one book and with a couple more on the way, I owe countless thanks to Tom and Marilyn Ross. There is no way I could have got my works off the ground without first reading "The Complete Guide to Self-Publishing"... that was the ultimate guidebook that made everything possible. And then... Tom and Marilyn came up with "Jump Start Your Sales." It is a classic! They are definitely for real. I wish I had this book earlier... it is helpful because Tom and Marilyn have accurately described what works and what doesn't. For example, magazine reviews, public appearances, getting in catalogs, etc, have proven successful; advertising in newspapers has been a waste of money. If I got my hands on "Jump Start Your Sales" beforehand, I would have saved myself a bundle.
